Rob Aitken leads the Office of Technology Strategy at Synopsys, where he and his team are looking into future technical opportunities for the company, including AI approaches, security, and next generation design methodology. Prior to joining Synopsys in 2022 he worked at Arm, Artisan, HP and Agilent. Dr. Aitken is an IEEE Fellow.
Gordon Cooper
Gordon Cooper is a Product Manager for Synopsys' AI/ML processor products. Gordon brings more than 20 years of experience in digital design, field applications and marketing at Raytheon, Analog Devices, and NXP to the role. Gordon also served as a Commanding Officer in the US Army Reserve, including a tour in Kosovo. Gordon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University.

Mr. Petri Rinkinen works as a legally qualified judge in the Unified Patent Court (UPC). He is the presiding judge in the Helsinki local division. He has worked as a judge from September 2013 in the exclusive Finnish IP-court, the Market Court in Helsinki, Finland focusing on IPR-matters, especially to patent cases. Prior to joining the court he has worked as an attorney-at-law since mid 1990’s focusing on IPR-matters. He is a frequent lecturer in IPR-matters.
